Is the sound still pure dogsh*t?

Yes. Ive even been rocking it in the frame mount instead of the impact mount and its still pretty bad.

Also, the interface and app could use some serious improvement. The controls and menus seem to be poorly thought out.

Being said it seems like good kit. My complaints, outside of the sound, are all software.

Just got a Hero 3....excited to take it flying next week and start collecting some footage. It has just been in it's box since I bought it, so I am looking forward to seeing the quality.
