            I'd call it a large C. Seriously though, how does this happen? I was thinking wind, but all the other icicles are completely straight.

                      do you drive on the highway? Constant velocity or zero acceleration+ high speeds?

                          Turbulence, and/or time formed. It could "grow" at a different rate due to evaporation cooling. The straight ones could have already been there.

                            This happens in my freezer reverse icicles pointing up growing from the ice in the ice tray.

                              The weird thing is this is our 1999 F350, which was completely clean before the last snowstorm. After that storm (the next morning), this is what I found. So maybe most of them formed at one point and the other one appeared before/after? :?
