What does R3v know about: Antique clocks...

I have an old/antique wall clock that's been sitting on top of my closet for about 5.5yrs. I took it down the other day to look at it for any identifying marks. After a bit of internet detective work I have pretty much narrowed it down but still having trouble nailing down the exact model/year, thus having little clue as to what it's worth.

    Here are some pics:

I've narrowed it down to an E. Ingraham, figure-8/Mosaic, Ionic Alarm.....I think. I have only seen the inner-dial type(at the base of the hands)on one other non-Mosaic and it was dated at about 1885.

    Anyone help??

i am kind of embarrassed to reply to this, but i don't think its an ingraham. the face looks similiar, but what i can see of the movement doesn't. does it work? it appears to be missing the pendulum and perhaps a few other parts in the lower portion. it is very odd to see the chime like that in the lower part with its own wind up. this clock has three wind ups. one key hole(likely the left top one) will wind the clock. the right one probably winds the device that trips the chime mechanism down below. the third one actually winds the chime itself in the lower part. normally, with clocks of this age, there will be no name on the wooden case. can you take the movement out of the case and look on the rear brass plate on the back(of the movement)? open the upper front cover and post some pictures of what you see inside there.

edit: i wonder if the the clock originally had an internal chime in the upper portion that was broken and some clock repairman added the mechanism in the lower part later on? you can see holes in that lower portion that have no screws in them. something is really fishy about the parts in the lower half.

here is an example of what an ingraham would look like: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-Ingr...item19d7f8cada

while the case is similar, the movement is completely different.

I pulled the face off and the mechanism/clock is in fact Ingraham. The case is also very Ingraham-like as well. I found an Alarm, but it was rosewood(?) rather than the mosaic.

I have the pendulum also but the hanger will need to be repaired.
