newer vehicle. suggestions?

I want to buy a newer vehicle so that i don't have to DD my e30 and seriously build it up.

I've have just started started looking around. I want a multipurpose DD. Big enough to carry motor in the back and be able to tow an e30 on an open trailer. Yet still have seating for minimum of 5 people. I prefer a SUV.

I have only looked at the 4.4l x5's but what do you guys recommend?

This is true any Hilbilly can work on one. It took me 10 minutes to do a window regulator in one.

Nissan Fucking Xterra. Best 4x4 for the price around. Holds Five, is comfortable, utilitarian, space in the back for 6 dogs. Perfect for you.

Who ever said Xterra has never really tired to tow 3500lbs + behind it. You dont "NEED" a 1/2 ton platform to drag an e30 around, but your going to WANT a 1/2 ton platform once you try it with that thing. And holds five what Children??? You can fit 5 COMFORTABLY a Tahoe and really at most we have in ours is 4, and in an xterra if you have 5 adults in it, someone is sitting on a lap in that thing

if you want to tow something, buy something diesel. i know you said prefer suv but my dads gmc sierra 2500hd (manual mother fuckers) tows cars like they're not even there. crew cab allows room for 5, actually 6 since theres a middle front seat and clearly room for about 10 motors in the back
