    so, about that c7 vette...

anyone watch the live broadcast? what are your guys thought on the car?

    direct injection
    variable cam timing
7 speed tranny/with auto blip throttle for down shifts
    59% stiffer chasis
    100lbs lighter chasis
    450hp/450tq
slanted radiator to direct hot exiting air out the hood vent

I'll reserve my final judgement until I see one in person but I think I like it. I'm an LSx fanboy, however.

I remember when the c6 came out people were castrating GM because they thought it was more of an evolution of the same car, not a new car. This is definitely a different animal. I would love to see if the LT1 has the same power potential of the LSx and if that 7speed trans will make it's way into anything else.

                          its absolutely hideous.
the tail lights are slightly cool, but then the whole rest of the rear end kills it. the front end looks like fucking shit.
and who the fuck thought of a 4 in a straight line center exhaust.
looks like god damn ricey ass speed holes.
(no offense to funfgans front bumper, i sorta dig that)

I hate the ass end of the thing, looks to Camaro and has no Vette linage look to it at all. Looks very italian inspired from the front. Most people (myself included) with the C6 was the lack of pop up head lights, a Corvette signature item since 63 other than the 77 model year (IIRC it might have been 78 though)

Should be an amazing car none the less. This might bring the demand and prices for the C6 Zo6 down to where I might be more tempted to buy on...................Oh I can hope cant I
