The Mancave thread

I did a little searching and I noticed Garage Threads and other stuff so I thought I would start a Mancave thread.

This can be your room, or it can be the living room. It's basically a place in your house that you spend alot of your time in. Whether you are watching movies or playing games I think it would be fun to see where people like to relax in their house.

All the nice furniture is in the living room and the rest of the house. The den is my area to design but my wife has control on the rest of the house including the bedrooms. It's a little rough around the edges but I just don't know where to improve it from here. Maybe you guys can help me with ideas!

Here's a tv I got from my wife for Xmas. It's a Samsung 55inch 240HZ Led tv.. I had a Samsung 46 so that's in the garage now.
Xbox, Cable Box, Ps3 and Wii are stationed on this TV.


This angle shows my gaming rig and home workstation along with my imac.


This picture shows my kids corner. My daughter has a gaming laptop and my son has my older gaming rig.




This last photo shows some of my toys and trasformers I have on display. I actually have more toys than my kids:)

The den is about 10x18 so it's not very large. It was added decades ago by a previous owner. One of the big problems is that the damn thing is super hot during summer and super cold during winter. The paneling was all wood till I painted it white. I added the flooring because when I bought the house it was piss smelling carpet. I've had the house for about three years and I have been slowly improving the parts that need it. Eventually I want to put some drywall up and make it more presentable.

Please share your mancaves with me. Maybe I can get some ideas on how to make mine better:)

Pretty sweet man cave. I suggest bear skin rugs, elephant tusks, and perhaps a few caged exotic animals.

I have since consolidated my license plates to the top and have a 42" LCD TV on the wall.


Stereo, CD changer, left speaker and my traffic light. The throwback wall phone actually works.




Fridge, full of cold brew and right speaker.


This is the separate "3rd car" garage...its whats behind the above door.

My daughter is nine and she uses.the mac sometimes.:) thats nothing at least she didnt leave her creepy doll.. the kind that is lifelike with those moving eyes.

No, My mother died from Congestive Heart Failure about eight years ago.
The fifth picture shows a wooden curtain, Behind the curtain is a six foot sliding glass door that leads to my yard. No basements in Los Angeles County as far as I know.
