i think technically you do, but you can make a fake account, and do nothing on it and just link it that way.

But ya, lack of Tool was literally the non selling point for me. I have their entire discography on my PC, so ill probably just load that onto my phone at some point.

You can add local files on your home PC, and they'll sync to your mobile apps just like any other song. Spotify not having it in their library just keeps you from opening Spotify randomly and playing it.
