    Hotels/Condos in Maui

    Hey R3v,

I'm booking my vacation with the soon to be Mrs in July to Maui, specifically Kihei area.. Ive done the usual priceline etc.

Last time we went to Hawaii, we used the timeshare, and cant use it this time.

What hotels/condos do you recommend/should stay away from?

Any smaller sites you recommend to use?

9 nights, budget of around 200 a night.

Thanks in advance, you guys/gals always help me out.

we have used this site before with great results. I mean a 3b 2b condo for like half of what the Hotels wanted and we have the kitchen for breakfast and snacks.
    They have condos and houses.

Get an Airbnb for every kind of trip → 8 million vacation rentals → 2 million Guest Favorites → 220+ countries and regions worldwide

I found about this website recently and it's a really great idea. Basically people list their house/condo/whatever on there and you can stay in it for a night or even as long as month-to-month leases. It may be a whole house/condo or just a room in someone's house that they live in. Review system is good. Best part is it's really cheap, almost always way cheaper than a hotel.

edit: just realized the link 2 posts above is basically the same thing. Didin't know about that one. I'd check them both out.

My girlfriends parent own two condos acrossed the street from Charlie Young beach. The name of the place is Maui vista. I guess there listed everywhere. Take a look.

We were fortunate and stayed at the grand Wailea a couple of nights (which is right outside of Kihei) and with friends that lived right off S Kihei Rd. Make sure you book at table at Sarentos right before sunset. Get a table by the outer patio wall.

                Thanks guys!

Im torn between a condo or regular hotel. They are the same price, however the hotel room seems nicer, but no kitchen like the older looking condo.
