Holy shit Blunt!! Gorgeous R69!!!!! I would love to do a restore on just about any classic BMW motorbike. I may test the waters in a year or so when I get some time.

LJ851- I REALLY like the OD Green color...

I want to get and older Ninja 500, or something similar, to get into a few track days. I had a Ninja 500 once and although it was ugly, it was a blast to ride, and incredibly cheap.

BTW- Anybody know anything about post-WWII Urals? IIRC they are nearly identical to the R12 after the Soviets stole the design? I could very well be wrong.

Just curious... I've been checking out WWII Era motorbikes for a bit. Would also absolutely love a WWII/Korean War era Willy's Jeep. I want too many projets, and I have no time at all to even start.

                  Most hillbillies aren't Harley owners

But most Harley owners are hilbillies.

Harleys have to be one of the most over-priced items in the history of retail. Total pieces of shit in every way, I've tinkered with a few of them, rode the around a little, and I was blown away with how cheap everything looked/felt/was. I do like the V-rod though, but I guess that's not completely a Harley, right?

Lorin's bike is awesome, looks even better in person!
