    English Car enthusiasts??

I happened into a 1968 Sprite and truth be told, I can't sell the bastard. I can't find anyone interested in an old English car. I happened upon it as a long term investment, but didn't account for the amount of space this investment would take up in an already cramped shop. I'm just trying to find the right group of guys, or guy to show this thing to. An I have no Idea where to find him at.

TL/DR=Where would I find this bunch of folks?? or where would be the best place to reach as many as possible?

I have a friend who is a huge English car fan. He has around 25 mg's from the 20's to 60's, just sold his Jensen that he "attempted" to use as a DD. lol

Ive got an MGB, A Disco, and a very rough TR6.

Check for local clubs, but spitfires are pretty much the eta's of the British car world.

'68 is way too late for the Bugeye, I think that would be a MkIV.

What about taking it to vintage race events? I know that there are two at Sebring in a couple months (I'll be at the second) and I'm sure there are a couple other tracks out there depending on where you are. Those cars are almost universally British and they're the group you want to be around.

Also, generally speaking the winter would be a tough time to sell a British convertible but you can always try things like the Austin Healey Club and any other local car clubs you may have.

Try listing it on www.healeyexperience.com. I bet it will sell there.

in order. First, I have a TR7 I am doing a full resto on for a customer right now, and I just sent you a PM Todd and InyuFaye

Second, No it is not a Bug eye. I wish it was.

Third I appreciate the info about the Sebring Events, Hadn't even thought of that.

Fourth It was bought from the guy that bought it brand new. I thought it would be a good investment and from what I see it would, but I would rather put it in the hands of an enthusiast because I need the extra space and don't feel I pay it the attention it needs.

Finally thanks for that website its goin up on there very shortly

my old man had an Austin Healey 3000 MK III in the late 80's.
Now he has a series 1.5 E-type coupe with triple Webers.

Father in law had an '54 MG-TF for about 2 years until last year (not sure what he was thinking there)

Of course growing up in England we had a lot of old English cars..lol
                  Some of the memorable ones......
Sierra Cosworth which was the shiz in the day
                  Escort RS2000
                  Triumph Stag, TR6 and Spitfire
                  Reliant Scimitar (POS)
                  2 MGBGT's
2 or 3 Mini cooper S's. (one was my dads racecar..haha)

Rest of the cars were either broken down or too boring to remember.
