I STRONGLY suggest not wasting time watching the video.
I wish I would have read this part before I watched.

while I agree that he doesn't have to care about aesthetics, but putting a wooden plank with chicken coop wire? What function does that serve? Was a good idea on paper, his execution was solely to make him feel like he has brass balls.

Finally got around to watching this, as a car it's clearly not great, as a statement, maybe it works, but to me it just says "I don't really care about a car as a car." The ridiculous parts is that if he purported to not really care about what people think why does he try so hard to make people feel a certain way about his car? I just don't get the appeal.

I think it's cool. Yeah the character that built it does seem kind of "fake," so to speak; but even if he does care about how his car looks (in an idiotic, attention-craving way) it is still unique. He got attention even if most people (I would hope) don't believe the whole "no fucks given" approach. As far as the car itself goes, I like it. I see the creativity even if it isn't something that I would drive. It has a post-apocalyptic mad max thing going, even if that was never intended; and the whole multimeter-as-a-fuel gauge thing is both laughable and admirable at the same time. I like that it's fast. If it wasn't I would hate the thing out right. I don't care for the fact that he cares so much about it but claims he doesn't, or the fact that he doesn't care enough about it to make it more attractive in a traditional sense.

In the end the end it's still unique and I admire it for it's place in the car community. Somebody being original (even when they're trying to) is more rare than it should be with cars. Even if you don't like it you might appreciate the car and the person for bringing something new to the table.

You know someone gives zero fucks about a car when they swap in a Ford 5.0. Kid makes no sense. Builds a car for canyon carving, puts a boat anchor in the front.

1st sentence. Actually, Funfgan's car has come a long way.

    Also, 13k? Pahleeze.
The kid is an artist plain and simple.

    Example:
What you see is beautifull might not be the same for your mother.
