This was an armed robbery. NOT a cop killing. It even a first responder killing (as a firefighter I shudder when I think of Xmas in Webster NY)
Adrenaline is a dangerous thing. So you crack his arm back and over tighten the cuffs. You can't beat him. If he killed a first responder and surrendered I am sure this would have been passed as emotional actions. But they crossed the line with how bad they beat him over a robbery.

I'm all for law enforcement, and I have a few friends that are cops (working as an EMT, you work with Paramedics and Sheriffs ALL the time). I know what goes on out there, and seeing this load of bull is sickening and it gives cops everywhere a bad name

Exactly. You show me a video of the cops beating up an innocent person and ill be the first to be disgusted. You showed me a video of some POS armed robber getting what he deserves. But its not up to the cops to dispense punishment its up to them to catch and take into custody those who commit crime thats ALL their job is they are not there to protect you (thats your job) and they are not there to punish you for fucking up, thats the courts job. They were not trying to defend them selves nor were they trying to subdue a perpetrator trying to fight back.

Kid was not resisting and was in a nonthreatening position. Every cop involved needs to brought up on aggravated assault and any other felony chargers that can be thrown at them. Have their badge, gun, pension and any other eligibility for some kind of benefits they may have access to now or in the future pulled NOW.

The police are supposed to held to a higher standard of conduct than 99% of the rest of the population, All I see there is a band common street thugs hiding behind a badge and privileged status committing a heinous crime, that if any one of us did the same we would be in prison serving 7-10.

As little use as I have for a thief and a criminal, I hope this kid ends up with a pile of cash from the department and ALL MONETARY ASSETS of every cop involved in this including their houses. Putting them on the street, I know it sounds harsh, but if there were the chance of REAL repercussions for shit like this, it would not happen multiple times a day all over the US and apparently mericas hat as well, and I am sure in many other "civilized" countries as well.

We are seeing a portion of the situation. They were wrong to abuse the suspect but darn this arm chair quarterbacking has to end at some point Or we are not going to have officers that are willing to do the job appointed to them at some point.

It doesn't matter what the suspect did wrong. He could have murdered someone. Doesn't matter. Our justice system works by being punished after proven guilty in a court of law, not by a police officer on the spot.

Once you say this is "OK" - for a police officer to punish people, then you're essentially giving them the power to do the same thing to you for even a petty crime like slowly "rolling" through a stop sign.. or anything really.

You have to realize it can either be OK for an officer to punish people like this or very bad and harshly punished, moreso than a regular non-police citizen. Once you let it be anything in between then they can and will do this to not just robbers, but anyone.

I agree that the little shit deserves to be punished and severely for the very nature of the crime, the point remains thats the job of the courts not the responding officers... Cops have every right to defend them selves and use force to do so I support that, but what were they defending them selves from there to justify that amount of force.

Yes they were responding to an armed robbery, but as you can clearly see in the vid when the commenced to apprehending him, he didnt appear to have the firearm, and was in a non threatening position and fucking face planted in the dirt before they even bum rushed him. Yes I am going run up on a guy I know that just had a gun and kick him before I secure those hands DURRRRRRR....................
