    I'm surprised companies would do that. Doesn't it cost them more in shipping based on volume as well as weight?

            I would assume so. I just thought it was wicked funny lol, the switch box was so small in there I couldn't find it at first in all of that wrapping.

              when i got my euro bumpers from the UK (forgot who sent it) he used one of the panels in a hatchback to partition off the trunk area from the seating area from like a renault for some structure and the rest was wrapped in newspaper and plastic wrap, stuffed in a big ass box! was pretty funny
