    Carbon fiber and fiberglass scraps

Just wondering if anyone on here does any composite work and would be interested in any scrap carbon fiber and glass pieces. They aren't the biggest sized but great for any side projects. It's mostly 284 carbon cloth, some decent 716 carbon one direction and fiberglass crossweaved, and UNI carbon. The 284 weighs 5.3 oz per yard I believe.

I have more scraps than I need for my current projects.

I would love some, I ordered some epoxy and and a little bit of carbon last week to start on my intake, but it would be nice to have some extra to practice with. Do you do composite work?

what sized peices are you looking for to practice with? and may i ask what your project your working on is going to be?

and yeah, i currently build carbon fiber racing boats. and have been working on some side project stuff mostly longboard and skimboards for myself to ride.

soon going to work on my first stand up paddle surfboard out of carbon fiber.

I am making an intake that goes from my supercharger to the throttle body and it has to clear the throttle linkage with some tight bends. I got some biaxial carbon sleeve and tape that I used but some of the bends were to tight for the sleeve so I had to cut the sleeve into shorter pieces. It not perfect but turned out ok for the equipment I was working with. I still have to trim it up and clean the rest of the clay that I used as the plug out. Then I will bond an aluminum bung into it for the ICV and diverter valve.
