where does it say the turbo is carb legal? i'm wondering how that would work, i am pretty sure this hardware was all finished and installed way before they started handing out EO#s for aftermarket parts. (whether or not it's the original callaway parts as kronus points out.)

Thinking Calloway kits were not CARB compliant. They were doing them back then. It was a big thing since BAE was doing them for A1 chassis on VW's and they needed to done iaw CARB.

surprised, i don't remember reading "CARB Approved/50 state legal/etc" in ads from back then, and it seemed like all you had to worry about was "is there still a cat & everything else in the emissions diagram".

effectively, that's still true for me, i guess, but goddamn it's a hassle.

Those pedals are def. $16,000 car worthy!!!!! WTF?

other than that it's a VERY cool car- but if someone really put those pedals on there, I don't wanna know what else they might have "tuned"

and as for the callaway/BAE "carb legal" turbo systems, i only wish i could stumble upon something like that on craigslist! an e21 with boost would be a whole different beast, i can't even begin to imagine.

spence, I have BAE/Century intake and exhaust manifolds for an M10 that are for sale but not on the market yet, but you wouldn't get it done in this century...
