One day, I hope that I can cause a ruckus large enough for Banny to ban me. But until that day, I will continue do nothing and rarely contribute to the information-rich well-being of this forum.Leave a comment:

Man, migraines will make anyone look like a huge puss.Yes. A lot of mine are eyesight triggered. I wear contacts so if there's something wrong with a contact or if I lose one or something it's pretty much an instant migraine. Also working/reading in low lit rooms can do it more gradually for me. Sometimes fluorescent lights can do it too.
Really when I list all the triggers out I sound like a huge puss.Leave a comment:

Okay I promise not to sue you if I ask about British cars.
Almost there though!
I need to go on lunch myself soon.
No but I think he was.
Thanks Doc! I appreciate you lending your experiences. Do you ever get triggered by working in poorly light spaces?Moi aussi. I also get them intermittently if I wear hats for too long, wear a necklace (not an issue), have long hair, don't eat for long period of time or don't get enough sleep. There are other triggers as well. It can get really annoying.
It's been a lot better in recent years though, I only get them three times a month or so and a combination of Treximet or (for the budget conscious) Naproxen and Sumatriptan will get rid of them (Treximet is essentially Naproxen and Sumatriptan mixed iirc). According to my 5 minute google browse of Midrin it might be more effective than Treximet for migraines, so hopefully that works.
That sounds doable. What does the gf do? Does she live with you as well?ideally, a live/work kinda space, not more than a mile from a BART station, somewhere between Berkeley and Hayward.
new gig is in SF right near 3com park, driving there is just not a fun or appropriate use of this car.
i've gotten eye migraines a couple times. they look sorta like an acid flashback. happens when i spend too much time staring at computer screens. (unfortunately that's kinda my job.)
made a good impression today. bloody exhausted now. taking a breather for a few mins before the gf gets home and wants to start packing shit. maybe i should make coffee.
Just cut the foam ones.
True.
What sort of area of work?Leave a comment:

yo Danny. i'm helping my aunt move to Petaluma at the end of the month and i know i'm not going to want to go back to Pennsylvania once I've been out there.
how's the job market in that area?Leave a comment:

Are polyurethane bump stops actually a thing that exist? I've been looking for them because my foam ones are over 1" long (already slightly trimmed down) and I want something shorter and stiffer.Leave a comment:
