    Forza Challenge Week #6

Alright, I say we throw down at the Nurburgring this week. Car will be the BMW V12 LMR R1(971). Leave it stock, as in no added modifications, but you can tune it however you wish. Set the fastest, clean lap you can do.

Screw Road Atlanta, we're doing the 'ring with the V12. You homos can suck it up and hang on.

For those that feel ambitious, Jörg Muller set a 1:18.XXX at Petit Le Mans in that car.

edit: didn't see second post... :(

So still no aids, right? It's always exciting driving the prototypes without traction control :D

They only turn on if the Xbox smells fear.

If ya had just gone a teeny tiny bit slower, like 1 thousandth of a sec slower and it prob would have been clean... lol

I saw the first track/car combo and got all excited since I had a bit of time I could commit to this and have actually spent some time on Atlanta. Now I'm f'd. I think I've only made it around that entire track once without going off, and it was in a uber slow car. Real race season is 1 month away, can only commit so much time to virtual. Regardless, challenge accepted! I shall post the best time I can pull, clean or dirty. Most likely dirty.

Your car is probably ready to race. My car is on jack stands and still losing parts. refreshing this week, reinstalling next week.

plus the full ring is a pain in the ass. My preferred place to f up is in the first few or the last few corners. Obviously, f'ing up a decent lap in the last 15 seconds makes one want to toss the controller.....

Well to be entirely fair, it is literally our job to get the cars ready. And yes, I've had more than enough instances of running an awesome lap and missing one stupid easy-ass corner and ruining it. Ugh.
