If I feel like chillin Ill have a glass of glenfiddich with two or three cubes.
Other days I'll have a couple rum manhattans. But I think my liver is taking a beating
Real mai tais and mojitos are good for summer pool days. Made proper with liqueurs and syrup..

Whiskey. into a glass.
Thats it.
you can spice it up with beer instead of whiskey. That'll add a whole new flavor.Leave a comment:

Bloody Cesar
Celery Salt, Pepper, Lea & Parrins Worcestershire, franks red hot, and something pickled, Clamato HAS TO BE CLAMATO fresh lime. Good Vodka (preferably a potato verity)
Tall cocktail glass Cover the bottom with the Celery salt and dash or 2 ground pepper.
Pour enough Lea&parrins to cover the bottom as well add franks red hot to your personal taste.
Your pickled item ( I like banna peppers or the whole peppercorns) you can use a nice pickle spear or anything else you like.
Add your vodka 3-4oz is what I like in a TALL glass if not a dab more.
Fill the rest with chilled Clamato squeeze in some fresh lime and stir well, garnish with a dash of black pepper and a big peeled shrimp if you wish. you can also also combine all this in a shaker or mixing glass then pour over Ice if ya want. I dont drink them fast so I not a fan of the Ice when I am at home.
ENJOY might post a couple of pics latter.Last edited by mrsleeve; 03-14-2013, 10:38 PM.Leave a comment:

So I know that there are a lot of beer and whiskey lovers on this forum, but do any of you guys make and/or drink cocktails? Here's what I've been drinking at home lately:

It's my take on a Bijou. The proportions I have been using are 1oz gin, 1oz blanc or dry vermouth, 1(small)oz green chartreuse, and 4 (small) dashes of orange bitters. Stir with ice quite a bit, then strain into a glass. No garnish.
I still like the original, but I needed a cocktail to use up my Dolin Blanc before it goes stale. Anyway, I'd love to see some new drinks to make/imbibe. Let's see what you got!Tags: None
