    Garmin....replace or update?

I have a nuvi 255 that has been relatively trouble-free. Problem is, that it's about 5 or 6 years old and obviously the maps are out of date.

Is it better to simply replace it or should I update it online? I have heard that the newer ones are no better, as they take longer to find locations etc.

    thanks in advance
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

i would weigh the update cost verse a new one. I have one as well that i just use for trips that i cant take my car to. I did online updates a few times and mine were free, not sure if yours will be.

Lol apple maps is so underrated. It gets me to the right place every single time except once, when my friend lived in the mountains in the middle of nowhere.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

If you know what torrenting is, you can get the maps for free that way. ;-)
