Thanks - had a few dirty high 26's, and that last one was looking like a low 26. Compared to AHOLs ghost, I was losing most time in the last 2 corners (more front straight speed, had 1-2 car lengths by turn 1), turn 1 and the long left before the back straight. I'm confident I can get down to 25's with time and concentration.

Is it just me, or does this track have the most aggressive, velcro/glue/hot-lava like grass in the game? You put a wheel on that stuff and it pulls you off the track and resists letting you get all 4 wheels back on. Quite a few laps coming through the left hander after the Ss, I'd touch the grass, which usually stuck me out there and messed up my turn in for the next right-hander....

Had a nice lap going, hit first section of turns really well and was 0.8 seconds faster already.... Then touched the rumbles just before the bridge, lap invalid. Watched the replay, car never touched grass.... grrrr.
Good progress! I noticed that section could be a bit unforgiving. There aren't as many places like that on this track as there are on some other tracks though.

Thank you for the advice. Im used to drifting on this game, got my time down to 2:34.754

Best I could get was a 2:31.616. I'll try again some other time. I only did 3 laps.

Bad news guys (maybe); tonight I'm leaving for upstate to visit my girlfriend for the weekend. She works overnight and returns at 9am. I might have one more go tonight, but I'll be...busy after that. Too bad because I've improved the one chance I got so far and that was with a broadslide through turns 1 and 2(oops), but better things lie ahead. That said, I'll at least update after the thing ends.

Started chipping away at the rivals list - down to a 2:28 something - more to come :)

This car seems very mild mannered, easy on the inputs it will slide nicely. But push it just a bit too far, and the bitch bites!
