I do love metal/rock but I listen to metal mainly when I workout and mellower stuff when I'm lounging around. Electronic/hip hop is more of my thing when it comes to driving.

          Agreed. Tiesto's up there too.
but personally, it's all about Mariah Carey on the freeway

Look into Chicane.. his greatest hits album reminds me of ALOT of good memories driving my e30.. like the songs sunstroke and Spirit.

Jay-Z's first album is legendary - Reasonable Doubt

Lupe Fiasco is another great rapper

and OF COURSE some Daft Punk

Love it man. I can totally picture driving to Colorado playing this. I'm curious though. Heard of Christopher Lawrence?

I had a hangover and there was 4" of snow on the roads this morning. Thievery Corporation worked pretty well.

                    Chilly Gonzales.

His Pianist's Envy mix tape is a really good set to jam to.

My TNGHT station on my Pandora does a lot for me. But I like "beaty" music with few words.

Also, The Dirty Heads and Tribal Seeds are great new-age Reggae bands.

And lastly, Emancipator is perfect for those chill Sunday afternoon rides.

That whole album is great too. Seriously, go look him up on Soundcloud. I usually find most of his material pretty entertaining.
