Just got finished watching it and wow, pretty damn inspiring to say the least.
I'm gonna be honest, many of us on this forum live in a bubble, myself included; living in small-town suburbia San Ramon.
However, this documentary really opened up my eyes to the generosity humans are capable of displaying if they are just open-minded enough and willing.
Overall, this documentary really restored my faith in humanity. <3

I broke it in with some jacks. We had a bonfire with the homeboys haha. Right now it's on my display case waiting to be used some other time.

I guess my thought is, it's pretty easy to "rough it" when you're an upper-middle class white kid who knows with a telephone call a plane ticket will be at the nearest airport and you'll be back to your comfortable lifestyle within 24 hours.

I don't find that so "inspiring."

My brothers friend Matt is the one that gave the guy the bike in the beginning. He actually ended up leaving it in the van so he couldn't return it to him. He was actually contacted by someone that felt bad for him and gave him a much nicer bike. People can be awesome and I am a firm believer in karma.

yeah, I can see where you're coming from. especially when someone like Zach Galifianakis was behind the scenes the entire time.
Regardless, I found it inspiring how some people are just so nurturing with their hospitality and just general goodness.
For example; the muslims who were having a bit of a fireside chat with Joe in their home, the hippy dude with the Volkswagen (I think) bus who went trekked down to Mexico with a complete stranger.
It exemplifies that if we just take a chance in life, something good or at least something learned will come out of it 100% of the time.

Still discovering the natural order of karma myself, but I wanna believe.
