How many cars do you own, or would like to own at a given time?

Ideally 3-4? One super nice weekend car, one pretty nice daily, one beater (maybe a van or truck to haul shit occasionally, and a motorbike or two. Right now I have my e30 and a bike (that I can't ride but oh well) and I'm looking to get a beater.

• mini-van - regatta mobile - I have a 17ft dingy I race and those old frontwheel drive mini-vans are great tow vehicles with lots of interior space

• X5 SUV 4x4 - my wife's ride
• 4-dr euro highway sedan
• 2-dr sports car - Porshe 911 or maybe an Alpha

Right now I have two an 1996 328i that was my first car and I still daily. Then there's the e30. My uncle has a bunch of cars just chilling in the woods back on the farm I bet I could find a couple gems back there.
Ideally I would have about 4 or 5 they would be the following

-e30
- 2002 Roundie
- some truck of some kind preferably a mid 2000's f-250
-last but not least either a 325ix for rally cross or a s14 240 that would be rb swapped and a drift missle.

I'd like to get rid of the miata and pick up a small truck eventually for a beater/tow vehicle. 4 'fun' vehicles is too much to stay on top of, and I am constantly tempted to spend money on upgrades for all of them.

I have 3, 2014 Ford Escape (my company car), '95 Volvo 945T (wife's daily), and the E30 for fun. I'd love to have a Miata too, but my wife would like a little RV before I get another toy. Either way, there are too many other things pulling at time and money to expand the stable. I don't ever want more than 4, maybe 5 cars at a time. Unless you have a full time mechanic, I feel like at least one or two cars will just sit and rot. That's not what they were built for.
