Although, it's still on TV. I swear it's still going on.

That guy buys all the cars for some museum in colorado I think, so chances are he's buying cars with someone elses bank account.

And whoever paid 4 million for that thing is a dumbass in my eyes, but if 4.1 million wouldn't even cause a ripple in account then why not.

I'd much rather walk around with 4-million saying "oh I'll take one of those, two of those, do you have that one in black?..".

I was at the show all saturday again, so badass.

And shit, I wish I could go back in time and buy anything with a damn Hemi in it. The Mopar's are going for stupid numbers now, 2-million for a 'Cuda convertible, are you kidding me? A RHD GT40 race car (the real deal, in black) went for like 250 grand, what is wrong with some people?

There seems to be very little logic with people that buy at these types of auctions, just another means of attention when you've got more money than sense.

Yeah, more money than sense is the exact term I used to describe some of the buyers yesterday.

No doubt. Hemi would be nice, but I agree, surely the GT40 should command a much higher premium! ???

Mike Bain, guy lived on the other end of my block growing up, bought a red w/white stripes, 1968 Shelby GT500, in 1971!! He was just out of high school I think. Either way, growing up, all I remember is seeing his legs sticking out from underneath that car every day coming and going from school. He also had a personalized plate, yeah, even back then, "SNAKE". He LIVED under that thing. Anyways, he had it ALL THESE YEARS, right up until last year, and he finally sold it. I swear, I thought Jesus would return before that happened.

Guy went most of his life unmarried, finally bit the bullet, they wound up divorcing after a short time, she took him for a bunch of money and he was forced to sell the car to catch up on legal fees, or whatever the case was. Either way, it was HER fault!

Sucks huh? I really do think I would have had the bitch killed just for satisfaction.
