DH Bike guys ...what's this worth?

I've been out of the game for quite a bit now. I used to race/ride pretty often. However, I picked up another hobby that eventually turned into something much bigger.

Now, I'm looking to get back into riding this summer. First off, I need to sell my frame, which is too small for me, and too heavy for what I wanna be doing.

What do you guys think my frame is worth with the shock? I think I'm going to keep the drivetrain for now until I start riding again and want to upgrade to something newer.

Here it is. 2007 Iron Horse 7 point 3, Medium Sized frame.

The frame's got a few scratches here and there, but it's straight. I'm gonna sell it with:
    • SDG i-beam saddle & post.
    • FSA pig headset
    • 5th Element 2-way progressive shock

    Would appreciate your guys' feedback!

Meh, $6-700. Check out pinkbike for better pricing estimate. I'm just basing it off parts and that it's an ironhorse

Toss a cheapo saddle/post combo on it as well. That I-beam isn't going to bring value up much but guys who race will scoop up the I-beam itself on pinkbike, substantial weight savings with those.

Edit - yikes, frame only. $300

it's pretty heavy. its also more of a freeride bike, i raced at sea otter a couple of times with it, whistler twice, and northstar tahoe many times.
not to mention all those days back in high school when id take it up in the oakland hills... good tymes

Yeah, frame, headset, and seatpost can't be worth much more than $350. Anything breaks and your SOL. Iron Horse probably hasn't made a dw link bike in what, 4 years?

I sold that same bike a year ago.

Frame, dhx 5.0 seatpost and rear wheel brought $350. Sold in 2 days on craigslist.

DW link rocks. I'm a Turner rider now.

Agreed. I loved the DW link design. I rode a Big hit before this, and liked this more.
I've had a few other FR/DH bikes in my lifetime, this is just too small/heavy for what I wanna do going forward, need it to be more versatile for AM riding.

I got a Turner 5 spot for all mountain. Had to swap to a small fox air can to stop from bottoming it out when hitting the park, but it's rock solid coming down. x9 build, TALAS 160 up front, DT swiss AM wheels works out to just under 30lbs.

Look at the Enduro, it's an awesome bike. Lots of very different riders using it successfully.

Sounds like a solid build ya got there. I just feel like I really outgrew the whole full on dh/freeride stuff.
We used to have homies shuttle us back and fourth back in the day.
I'm building a dj/urban hardtail so i dont really need a fs for that sorta shieeet.

what do you guys think of the heckler for AM and light dh/fr?

Super outdated suspension design, single pivot is terrible. Look at the Nomad if you want something light which pedals well and can still take a beating. Neither are DH bikes, but the nomad has better geometry and will take more of a beating.

Ehh...the Nomad's a little bit out of my price range.
I basically want something that I could take on the singletrack, mixed AM riding, and then occasionally take up to the chairlifted bike parks (north shore type riding)

Recommendations! budget for frame is $1000. Looking for something used, preferably a few years old at maximum.

$1k for just the frame? You can definitely find a Nomad for that, but depending on the size of your parts, you may have to get a different BB/rear hub/headset. It's well worth the price. Check out a vid of a guy doing whistler crabapple hits on his carbon, 30ish foot jumps.
