    Got my dog back!!!

I have a Belgian Shepherd (Malinois) named Coby. I had him when he was month and half old. I had him for another month and half and sent him for 7 months to Nosara, Costa Rica (personally its one of my favorite beaches in Costa Rica) for obedience, personal protection and tracking.

Finally brought him back home last night.

Few pics of him when he was a young pup

This is him now (pics taken yesterday). Currently weights 75lbs. expected to weight close to 100lbs now that I can feed him much better.

In the video he's a little tired it was 3rd drill since we showed up late and it was 98 degrees and about 80% humidity so it was really hot. Felt bad for the guy in the suit its heavy and its oven when you wearing it.

And this is Coby's dad Boxi a Dutch Shepherd (one of my brother's dog) in action old vid in a exhibition event.

    Very cool!

But I'm curious, why send in your personal dog for that "specialized" training? Seems like a lot of work unless you're a K9 officer.

          fucking beautiful dog.

Currently My fiance, mother and I have a 83lb pitbull and foster many dogs who need homes. However when my fiance and I get our own dogs, I want a black german shepherd or a doberman, I would love to have them trained for protection. If I were to have kids, and say my fiance and I go out, babysitter over and someone decides to break in the house, I would feel comfortable knowing that dog will annihilate someone that means harm to my family. Or even if we're sleeping (normally a gun next to my head - but i am a heavy sleeper) the dog will defend the house. It's an ease of mind knowing you have a guardian that will protect you in every way shape or form.

Why not? Dreamchasin said it best. Protection. I live in a good closed community but I'm overly protective with my home. Besides having a best friend he will protect you with his life.

That is awsome that you do that. Pitbulls are great dogs just bad owners gave society bad reason not to like them.

Yes, I did it for a peace of mind when I leave my wife and 2 girls at home.

Thanks. Rotties are the first breed I fell in love with. My dad's friend had one named Bear. He was the long haired and huge. He was awsome.

Take care of him and definitely he will take care of you.
