                                                    I work on a JSEOD base, I'm well aware of the various types of ordnance, both lethal and non. My comment was in regards to the very confined space of the boat and the fact that he is completely surrounded with no cover other than a tarp. Even a stun/flash grenade could be lethal in that proximity and confinement.
