At the end it said 1,220hrs of work put in.

So people working shifts day and night 24/7 it would take 50 days straight.

Ive seen it a few places before, but I gotta say that guy is the man. He does those as a hobby. I mean seriously, who has the time and patience to say
" I'm bored today, I think I'll machine all the parts to build a palm sized working Rolls Royce Merlin V12, then build the thing"? That said, I know where to go to get micro sized parts machined. That guy is badass.

This one is fuel injected and sounds glorious. Skip to 2.00 minutes if just want to hear it.

I must have missed the ignition system. What provides spark to the cylinders?

The first one posted is not self powered, it is powered by compressed air i believe. Notice there is no throttle, etc.

The first video, I think the engine just runs off compressed air, hence the tubing going to the front of the engine. If it is fuel powered, I'd guess that it is using a glow plug and nitromethane fuel, like you see in hobby class RC cars.

the first video is just compressed air running through it showing it works.
