Yeah, shitty, ain't it? I'm stuck looking for torrents for my WRC coverage now...it sucks!
The only good thing about the torrents though...the coverage is a bit better. No Nicky Grist though...- Dustin

WRC is, and has always been, the most interesting motor sport out there, closely followed by LeMans... and then JGTC a fair while behind
Racing split by hundredths of a second in supremely dangerous environs all over the globe beats watching a bunch of high school drop-outs turn left for 500miles, or a pair of 6000hp monsters drive fast for 5secs at a time...Pork Hunt Motorsport

The old mid'90s BTCC was great. Door handle-to door handle racing with plenty of manufacturers. Always guaranteed of really close, really hard racing.
DTM has been good, but all the Euro touring car championships tightened up their rules to stop a lot of the rubbing/shunting that made it spectacular and enthralling to watch.
We get stuck with a Ford vs GM 2 make show down here :(Pork Hunt Motorsport

Speed did not drop the WRC.
The WRC screwed the pooch on their TV contract with Eurosport, the European channel which Speed gets their feed from.
As of right now, the WRC has no TV contract in either Europe or North America. Right now the WRC has two manufacturer teams, that's it. They're hurting.
