    you want to get into mechanical fuel injection, go back to pre wwII. I was refering to modern (all be it primitive) eletronic injection and its first use on caddys. I am a vette man at heart I know bout the 57 283 FI option!

          in my uncles garage!!! hahaha he has an origional 427 SS 1968!! so bad ass. my father has a 1967 he is getting ready to restore, here is a pic.

            Should have been more specific.. What I meant to say was the FI was not used on any Cadillac Deville until 1981. I'm not a big fan of the Seville because it's basically a fancy rebadged Buick Regal.

            The last carburated engine used in the flagship Cadillac Deville was the 1980 carb'd 368cid. Used for only 1 year.
