This is Missy. She's about 10 months old (6 months in the photo) and is an absolute sweetheart. However everyone who walks their dogs or children besides me as I'm walking her, they jolt in opposite directions. I'm assuming they believe pit bulls are ferocious, but she isn't a pitbull. She's an American Staffordshire Terrier. I feel so bad for her since she gets no other dog contact besides when I have my buddies dogs come over, or for play dates. People are so judgmental, it down right pisses me off.
/rant.
I feel the same way about my pup, she loves meeting new people more than anything else, but when I walk her down the sidewalk people make a nice wide arc around her. There's nothing more menacing than a 6month old puppy wagging her tail happily at you :-x
