Anynoe own a Herman Miller or Humanscale chair?

I had a job back in Calgary where the owner bought several Humanscale chairs with the headrest. They were awesome! and I really planned on owning one.

Now that my home chair is really getting shitty, I've started reading about these HM Embody chairs. They seem reasonable enough, and seem to get good reviews on Amazon

    http://www.amazon.com/Embody-Chair-H...s=embody+chair

Can anyone else recommend a good chair for home office use?

    thanks
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

I have an Aeron, which is probably one of the best investments in my comfort that I have ever made. I can sit at the desk for hours in nearly total comfort. I'm sure the Embody is better still.

For $1200 I would expect the wheels to be nicer than ones you get on a $40 chair from Walmart.
I have friends who are EOD bro.

That's awesome. I have friends who make coffee for a living, but you don't see me rocking out a bunch of lattes

My sister in-law's dad works for Herman Miller, and for Christmas I got hooked up with an Aeron chair. My dad loves his but I don't like mine that much. The stretchy/breathable seat material is nice but the hard frame it attaches to is a bother. It's a very nice, high quality chair though so I would be a huge brat to complain about it. I can sit in it for hours with no aches.

They just look like Wal-mart wheels. Oh, wait.

If you buy a 1200$ E30 you most likely get two nice comfy chairs + a couch!!

                    $1200?! I'm sure it's an awesome chair...but that's half a decent M50 swap and you're chair can't powerslide.

I'm sorry you spend 1/3 of your life sitting at a desk all day. Sounds sad to me. If I had to do that I would want a nice chair too.

No need to be sorry, I spend my time in my shop, I was making an observation, not a statement of my life.

Why so much hate in this thread? If you spent most of your waking life sitting, you'd want a nice chair too. Mechanics buy tools, cooks buy knives, office job people buy chairs. Makes sense to me!

I sit in one at work. Very nice if used correctly. Nothing can really help with bad posture though.
