OP ain't mad flush, hella jelly tight of any of the recent internerd lingo that's being thrown around on forums.

OP is offering a subjective opinion on which members may, or may not agree with.

    of my 3 E30's I've owned
    my 1st e30 (see: 2006 had 3 piece BBS's on them, and Ronal LS's)
    my 2nd where euroweaves
my 3rd (ESM's now GONE), and BACK to using the Ronal LS's.

I swear I see more eurotrash'd out hellatightstancedoutbumpstopsliced cars out there with some BBS logo SOMEWHERE to earn up that sick streetcred the 'scene' pays out in v-cards to kids living @ moms posting comments on multi-forum from their top bunk.

like i said, this gringo OP ain't mad...he observant.

Yes. The RS are supposed to be road-worthy wheels that duplicate the looks of BBS magnesium racing wheels, which are actually very lightweight as well as being extremely wide, at the cost of being essentially track-only pieces that need constant inspection.

I know what you mean OP, i have too many sets of BBS RS rep's (Koing Remembers). Kinda overkill on it,i know they are not real BBS wheels but i still know what you mean though. They are everywhere. I thought i would change things up abit and go ACS and HARTGE wheels for now instead.

Great look on the E30, what are you going to do?

I've personally been planning on doing staggered 16" Borbet A's for a while even though I see quite a few others on the forum with A's. Turbos are also sweet.

What wheels are you running Burns?

I definitely enjoy knowing how few people have my wheel setup, but I'm even more excited to throw my Compos on a 2002.

IMO, wheels shouldn't cost more than $100 each. It's a racket.
    Poverty post.

From an RS003 owner, how rare exactly

Edit: on topic, i too think they are played out but something about knowing they are BBS's satisfies me enough to keep them.

Even a redrilled set, is still rare to see here in Cali if not at a big car show.

I think if you go to a car meet or peruse BMW forums, yeah, you would see a lot of BBS multipiece wheels, to the point they are commonplace. It's like going to the zoo and seeing a grizzly bear doing parlor tricks just to be rewarded with a chunk of meat.

If you see either one in the wild, all by its lonesome, it's spectacular.
So true. I think I've seen at most one 4 bolt e30 with refurbished RS's in person that wasn't at a show, they're still quite rare from what I can tell.
