Always loved the look of these, but the rust is a huge deterrent to buying one. You need to have money and equipment otherwise you'll be stuck with a rust bucket, unless you find one mint or great condition. I do wish I had one though!Leave a comment:

Once the E30 is done I will be building one of these. I've already cleared out space in the garage in case I come across one for the right price.Leave a comment:

Here are a few I saw this weekend.
This one is only a tiny bit important since it was the original Nissan show car in 1970. Yes, this car was the first Z imported to North America. After the show season it ended up in a scrap pile where it was saved by the guy who built it into a race car.
Not nearly as important as the car above, Bob Clucas owns this one.
While not an S30, I thought I'd throw this in since it was the next step in the evolution of the Z. Built by Bob Sharp for Paul Newman. Now owned and raced by Adam Corolla.

Mi padré
it's one of my dreams to buy him one just like he had in the late 70s, after i graduate, get a job, and make a stable living.

shiftbmw, you got all the right wheel setups going. Nothing I hate more than modern wheels on classic cars...Leave a comment:

Love me some S30. Call me crazy but they remind me of a Ferrari 250 car. Classic GTLeave a comment:

When mine is put together in a few months I'll let you know.
240 is preferred for weight and simplicity, 260 is the red-headed stepchild, 280s are most available, and I have never talked to single person who has anything but love for the Z.Leave a comment:
