I run a midwest euro forum, eurowerks.org, and we did the same type of cleaning up. We had begun to take on a handful of forum sponsors, and wanted to make a welcoming place for them, since after all, they pay the bills.

The porn went away, but we don't have a language filter. Haven't had too many issues with that ::knockonwood::
