Perhaps you should say the review was overly objective with all of the facts and figures (sounds like bragging to a degree, also anyone can read a stat sheet) and didn't have enough douchey highly opinionated observations that we have become used to and thus comes off as douchey. See how that works?

More Clarkson, less May (and a bit of Chris Harris if driving an M5).

Douchey sounds a lot nicer than what I actually think of it, (comes off with an utter lack of planning, "look-at-me jerk off of my e39 m5," best car ever, m5 m5 m5, no real substance whatsoever, no context, etc).

Better just stick with douchey
