Time to chime in. I'm a co-founder of a startup and a freelance UX & Web designer. I've been building Wordpress sites for 6 years now. I use a combination of Wordpress and WHMCS on top of Amazon EC2 and S3 instances to resell web hosting.

We're currently building our web app using Drupal with Aegir for distribution. Really excited for us to launch at the end of July!
