Oh this looks promising!
I like the idea of wearing nice clothing and shoes, but it has always been hard for me. I have worked blue color jobs all my life and dont see changing anytime soon. When you work in kitchen, construction sites, boat yards, and garages keeping clothing looking good is hard. I would have to have two entirely different sets of clothing which just seams like way to much work lol
I have my work cloths that make up the majority of my clothing plus a few nice pairs of jeans t-shirts and button ups that I wear on weekends. I look forward to retiring and just wearing casual 1940's stile suits every day like my gramps in Germany lol.Wow I just had too take out a loan to get more 6 blade razors for my Gilette fusion thing.
I shave every other day and usually get 2-3 months (uncomfortably) out of a blade.
I'm Deffinetly trying this out next time I need razors .ill even get a set for my dad for Father's Day!!
And waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles paying for disposables. I bought a straight razor a while back, but haven't bought a strop or sharpening supplies to go with it, so I haven't been able to use it yet. Honestly I'm a little afraid of it. lol Harry's might be a good option.Last edited by AndrewBird; 06-03-2013, 01:32 AM.Leave a comment:

I love my shaving gear. My favorite blade to use was the Mach 3 but refills were killing me. I'm Armenian so I get a 5 o'clock shadow 15 minutes after I shave. My wife bought me a merkur razor and I love it. While the razor itself was 70 bucks, refills are dirt cheap because it uses a single edge blade. I get incredibly close shaves and it costs me about 10 bucks for 3 months of blades. Highly recommend it to you guys.

Man, it sounds like a lot of you get razor burn or irritation really easy. Thats gotta suck.
I guess im lucky. Ive only used cream for the first two times i shaved, since then ive either just wet my face, shaved in the shower, or dry shaved.
I will use a gillette mach 5 blade for 6-12 months too. I never get cuts or burnLeave a comment:

I've had to shave since i was 10. Now I'm 16 and could care less about shaving because i always get irritation and ingrown hairs. If i ever have to shave i use a pair of clippers and trim real short. i love having a beard and not having to worry about shaving. I might get this for fathers day.Leave a comment:

When I had to work for The Man, I shaved every day, then I stopped. Grew a beard, and used a peanut clipper to keep it tame. Then I became my own boss, and I have a real mans beard. I haven't shaved in 3 months. It makes me happy. It excites women. It makes shaved men quiver before my manliness. It uses all those exposed hairs as little antennae to boost the powers of my psychic ability.
Don't be tied down by The Man, Embrace your inner Mountain Man, let him stomp The Man in a grizzled fit of meat eating, testosterone laden rage.Leave a comment:

Just purchased the winston set, I've been looking for a quality razor for years. Been using the disposable 3 blade hobbies from Gillette. You could almost purchase a new set of these instruments every time and still be cheaper.Leave a comment:

But check out how they design their blades(hover the mouse on the + signs for info):

I have my normal clothes and my work clothes. Doctors are white collar and almost everytime I see one they are wears some sort of scrubs or some slacks and a white coat.
Right now is the time to buy a sports coat or suit. Go to Banana Republic and start off getting something in a price range that you will not regret. There is something awesome about a slim fit jacket with jeans and a nice button up finished with some sort of boot or leather loafer.

The difference between the sets is the handles. They both use the same blade: "one is a curved rod of zinc alloy forms the solid base of the Truman, while a blend of high-quality polymers and waterproof lacquer yields a smooth exterior." "The Winston is constructed of lightweight aluminum alloys similar to those found in modern aircraft. Like the wing of a plane, the Winston is designed to marry lightweight control with sturdy dependable performance."
Comes down to your style.Last edited by F34R; 06-02-2013, 07:13 AM.Leave a comment:

I have been shaving my head and face since the '90s and have been using gillette sensor3 blades for the last while. Think i will give these razors a try although i am not interested in any new clothes or shoes like the rest of you homos. Thanks for the link, F34R.Leave a comment:

Thanks for the link. I have a dark beard. I can shave in a few hours it is shadow time. I will give the product a try. 15 or 25 for the starter pack, might just go all in and get the 25 dollar one.Leave a comment:
