Not too sure what to do. (seller question)

So as some of you know I sell tie rod spacers. I haven't had a single problem before with shipping but now something has popped up.

A customer ordered a set of spacers and I sent them off to the PayPal "confirmed" address. About 2 weeks later he's saying they haven't shown up yet, I copy and paste his shipping address from PayPal and email it to him so we can confirm that I sent it to the right place. This is when he notified me that this was his old address (no prior notification of it being any different). I offered the option that if it is kicked back to me I'll just send it to his new address with no additional charge. He replies that I need to send him another set immediately or a refund, and that PayPal actually has his new address stated. So I ofcourse take a screen of both the email that PayPal sends me as well as actual PayPal website both showing the out of date address.

He didn't respond back for a couple days and now is saying that he has waited too long and just send a refund. PayPal is still showing the old address.

I feel like this is either PayPals fault or the buyers for not notifying me of the address change.

What should I do in a case like this? Sure my products may not be expensive but they still cost money to fabricate, paint, and ship.

I've been down this road myself as buyer, 100% the buyers fault. He failed to properly update his PayPal address (probably added a new and forgot to change primary), that's his problem if he didn't include an address in an email buying the product. He doesn't have a leg to stand on, and you have no guarantee you'll ever see the first batch you sent out. Too bad for him.

Don't worry about it. His fault. Ignore him and tell him to pound sand.

You are not at fault, he sounds douchey, and either himself or PayPal should take care of it.

He sent you a shipping address. You shipped it to that address. Story over.

The blame sits squarely on his shoulders.

His fault, that is his online transaction information. It is not YOUR problem he did not update it. You offered to remail it once it comes back, that is all you have to do. ALSO you are paying for the shipping again to him. Bravo sir.

Another 1+ for him to pound sand.

this happened to me once ( i didn't change address) and I had to go to the house and knock on a strangers door. My package was sitting right there, no problems. Why does this idiot not do this? You shipped to the address givin. When you send money in paypal it asks what address to ship to, so buyers fault.

Buyers fault completely and he should take responsibility. That being said they aren't that pricey of a part and I would likely send a replacement free or for maybe shipping cost only, good for your rep as a seller etc. Just my opinion.

Tell him to pound sand for being a dick about his own mistake.
