Here's my sequence. XBOX --> PS2 --> XBOX 360 --> PS4

Easy decision. Easy mode.

At this point, I doubt any gaming enthusiast will be purchasing a TiVo one. As for the PS4 I really have no idea.

Microsoft is going to lose some cred and market share with the x1. Fighting what the customer wants really shouldn't be a company's strategy.

only reason to get the new xbox is for Forza. Which isn't enough reason for me anymore. I miss Playstation too much.

PS4 and WiiU will be my next non car related big purchases. The Division for PS4 looks so sick!

I had a PS2 way back as a kid and loved it, got an X360 near release as a gift and have been using it since. Bought a PS3 and have played a game on it once, terrible purchase decision as I vastly preferred my X360 controller and game selection. This time around I'll likely end up with the PS4 as it just looks so much better, I dislike Kinect as I don't give a damn about motion sensing or voice commands. I will miss playing Forza with my buddies though and I hope the majority of the good single player IP's end up on PS4, couldn't care less about any other multiplayer games. Microsoft really waffleswaffleswaffleswafflesed up this time around it seems despite what are admittedly some pretty cool new features.

PS4 is the route I'm taking. not a big fan of Microsofts XBox 1.
