You could always knock out his front teeth, tape his fingers together and get your own sloth slave...

He's actually pretty smart and very curious. His diet is all fruits and veggies. Narrowing down his favorites right now. Squash is his fav. He's pretty much full grown, just a bit more filling out. Sid was probably based off the giant ground sloth...those are rad.

Seems like a cool pet. Does it drink beer?

my GF calls me a sloth. I can see the resemblence. The hair (which constantly plugs the bath tub drain) and my toenails kinda resemble it's claws

How smart are these things and how accustom is he to people?
Does he do any tricks?
Does he just eat fruits and vegetables?
Is he full grown or do these things get bigger? I remember sid sloth from the ice age movies and he looked a bit bigger than this guy so I figure he still has some growing to do... thats solid logic right?

Cost was over 2k and a reason why my e30's been hanging out off the road.
He's getting friendlier the more i work with him as he's associating me with food. He'll come out when he smells me. Still hesitant about meeting meeting new people though.
He really only poops once a week and its in the "litter box" that surrounds his climbing area. I use puppy house training pads underneath astroturf to separate the poop and pee. He doesn't smell but if his piss and shit mix it's something you don't forget.
Steve - His hands are incredibly strong and rather squishy. I'm sure it'd be one hell of a hand job. Also the fact he doesn't have front teeth....
