Everything you just said is based on assumptions and stereotypes that you made. fail.THIS
The dumbass thought he would be slick, funny, and try to video tape them. He was obviously putting on a show for the rest of the ghetto and needed to show off.
How many times did this piece of crap pass the cops while there is already an ongoing crime scene going on? He could have been a spectator leaking info or possibly involved. The cops didn't know.
It's just like irresponsible pit bull owners. He put his dog in that situation, as terrible as it was to watch, he shouldn't have antagonized the cops. He knew his dog would defend him, Rotti's are very protective of their owners. If a 120-150 pound dog was lunging and attacking me I would shoot it too. The officers waited till it lunged several times before shooting. And I was a VETERINARY ASSISTANT and I still feel this way. Your safety comes before a strange animals, especially one showing aggressive signs towards you.
Another day in the hood in this video and the guy made his dog pay for it. If anyone has a right to be mad it should be at the the irresponsible owner who felt he had to be funny and put on a show for the hood.Leave a comment:

That was difficult to watch.
However, a large Rot barking and lunging at police trying to protect it's owner is a pretty clear threat. Not saying I condone what the police did and tazing it would have probably been a better option.Leave a comment:

THISAs shitty as this is, I feel it is the owners fault.
I'm sure that dog's owner knew his dog was protective. So why would he even bring the dog into that situation? Then he failed by not securing the animal, which I'm sure he also knew that the dog would be willing to jump out. Hell I had a rot jump out of a truck window from 6 feet to go greet another animal. I'm sure he would have jumped from higher if he felt I was in danger.
In the end, IMO, this is the owners fault. We don't know why the police approached him, but from the looks things this was a relatively serious crime scene. They could have already been on edge and just wanted to ask the guy some questions. Until the entire story comes out I think it is a little unfair to blame the police.
That officer demonstrated a hesitation to shoot the animal. He only shot after repeated lunges and obvious acts of aggression. I don't think I would have let that dog get ahold of me either.
Sad day indeed, I feel for the owner, but I'll wait before I grab my pitchfork and torch.

I know it's stupid but this only makes me want to shout at the first cop I see. Man, you don't shoot some ones family. We have guys on freaking PCP who want to beat the shit out of the cops and they don't get shot.Leave a comment:

The guy was a block away on a public sidewalk not interfering with anything the police were doing. This is nothing but excessive force by the police officers.
Sadly the officers will not be reprimanded for this, in fact they will will just get a paid vacation till all of this settles.Leave a comment:

Man, someone needs to see how those cops would feel with some .223 injected into their bodies at high velocity.
Didn't even watch the vids, but this makes my blood boil.Leave a comment:

Here's one from a couple of weeks ago, the story behind it is "cops were called in to take a report on a runaway kid. Signs are clearly posted in front of the fence, yet cops walk in without any care" results in a poor dog shot and unable to survive the injuries.

It's ultimately the owner's negligence.
Who knows.
One of the guns is actually an HK MP5 (9mm). I can't make out the other one.Leave a comment:
