reminds me when my dad, my brother and i were in fresno (should be a clue) on our way home and they had a dui checkpoint up ahead right after our turn off so we just do our normal thing and they sent a cruiser after us and said my dad was avoiding the checkpoint and in our front yard they made him do a full sobriety check while me and my little brother were crying (we were like 8and 6 i think) and the officer told him to tell your boys to Shut the Fuck up and he was sober obviously but they searched the car the same way and were just all around Assholes with a power trip...

Couldn't disagree more. The officer may have taken the kid for a smartass, but he was right. I'm all for cooperating with police until they start fucking with me unprovoked. Its one thing to set up checkpoints, but it's another to go out of your way to fuck with someone just because they know their rights and won't voluntarily let you walk all over them.

You feel free to waive the rights given to you. I'm on the kids side on this one.

Put yourself in the cops shoes, some punk kid won't put is window down, won't unlock his door, won't cooperate and has to think about how old he is,, of course they're gonna be suspicous you can even hear that kid is nervous in his voice. If he would have rolled his window down handed his id over he would have been done in 2 minutes. But instead he pissed off the cops and wasted their night.

How hard is it to just cooperate? Things are way smoother that way. If you have nothing to hide then you shouldn't be worried.

They didn't fuck with him untill he refused to cooperate. The moment he won't roll his window down shows that cop suspision. They just wanted to check ids and for dui's and they can't do that with punks like this. These cops were probably there all night the last thing they wantwanted was a punk kid trying to prove he's smart with the law. They are just doing their job to keep the roads safe.

Btw you all may act like its cool to do this shit but I bet 50 bucks you are all abunch of pussies when a cop is at your window, and I garuntee you do everything he asks.

No, we shouldnt abuse them trying to make dumb points about cops. Thats just asking for trouble. Its stupid, going out with your camera obviously meaning to go through a check point and start shit with officers. Its childish.

Laws are there for a reason. So are rights. What if criminals got away everytime cause they said nah you can't search my car or see my ID. Cops have to expect the worst from every road stop and treat its as if anything can go wrong, garuntee this world would be way worse if cops let every person who said no just drive away.

Bitch all you want, but you need to read what your rights actually are while your stopped. And while your at it read up on what cops can do and what classifies as probable cause.

travish is a cop im betting, and he just wishes everyone would listen to him like mindless sheeple. the police are supposed to be "PUBLIC SERVANTS" and if they have no reason to think he is intoxicated then they should not have even dealt with him and got him out of there...but more often then not police go on a power trip and think that they are some figure to idolize and everyone must listen to them without questioning even if it violates basic rights...
