Long story short:

I speak to "Grays" about BMW. Car has an auto and a respray that hasn't been buffed, wet sanded or clear coated.

It's been on CL for a year and hasn't sold. I make offer to buy as parts car or buy parts from him, proceed to ask what his low price is.

He tells me I must be "broke since I can't afford his car".

E-Penis measuring ensues. He posts about me on CL, claims to have my address and full info. Eventually deletes posts, agrees to leave me alone.

He sees my thread here and gets mad again. Decides to repost his ads about me. I delete posts, he leaves me alone.

We are here.


Car can be seen on NYC CL, probably in 4-5 posts.

You decide what its worth. Since this seems to have become more of a value debate than anything.

And James...honestly I'd pay it in a second if he had a damn title!! I'm generally cheap but I offered him more than fair money on parts I wanted and got this. So I thought I'd share.

Hell even in the PNW its worth it, we be buying them all up for racecars, title or no title.

If there's a market for e30 parts in your area that car would pay for itself and you could keep some parts you need off of it at or near that price.

James, on the East coast, that car is NOT WORTH 1500. everywhere you go price differs. It could be worth every bit of 1500 where you live, just not here. So instead of telling someone they're a cheap ass because a car is worth more in your area, maybe think of the difference in prices of the area.

Area is not the only thing, if its straight and in fair shape it is worth 1500 bucks in any market. These cars are only getting harder and harder to find.

Sorry, its worth 1500 bucks, no matter what you tell me. Just because you guys can find clean late models for under $1000 does not mean they are WORTH $1000.

I've bought plenty of stuff from clueless people in the past as well.
