    Dear R3V Can you help me? INSURANCE issue.

    I am in Norcal,and my Parents are in Arizoma. This question is for my parents. Last week some idiot in a Newer Toyota Taco Didn't secure there load. The load of boxes fell off and hit the bumper,and screwed up the valance. Fast foward to today My dad is driving the car and he takes the entryway to the driveway and BAMN. the whole front clip falls off. All i know is that that chevy integrated this whole part. The valance/bumper,So now the car is not driveable,My mother has been dealing with progressive and She tells me progressive wont honor the claim and that my parents have to pay for the repairs them self,because progressive cant find the owner of the truck.


    Can someone please tell me Whats the recourse here? Thanks

      Sounds like full coverage would resolve the issue, minus the deductible of course.

              Then file a claim????
              If shit falls off a truck damaging you car, get the plate and any info you can off of the truck (vehicle #) company name and info etc.

              Try to file a claim based on that info.

              Your parents not making a claim at the time of the accident will cost them $ with a no fault claim.

              Progressive are fuck holes though, be ready to have them put up a fight.

                  If they don't want to paint it and your dad can transfer parts from one facia to another it is roughly in the $700 for a new one with assorted clips and such. With paint figure around $1k to drop off and pick it up finished.

                      As soon as it my parents tried to block them in. the driver of the Tacoma wouldn't stop and took off on a side street, They took pics of the truck/license plate/driver. They called DPS and filled out a report there.
                      They tried to start a claim last week.
