    to everyone who works outside

Stay safe and cool. I do roofing and were out here the whole summer replacing slate roofs 50 feet up and its brutal. Its a heat wave and a half. Temps around 100 and humid as hell.

I know the feeling. I work on a flightline. And when it's 100 outside, it gets up to 140 inside the jet. Hydration is key!

I work in an office and I hate how the AC blows on my hand and makes it cold. Sometimes I wish I worked outside.

Damn. You guys need one of those 5 gallon jugs. Our expediters have those along with coolers filled with Gatorades on ice. Maybe we might be a little spoiled. Haha.

            ^^^^

This, I work in an office now, but I used to be the foreman of our steel shop, and before that a welder and fabricator. Nebraska summers are brutal, just last week the heat index was 114 degrees. Our shop would go through 10 gallons of Gatorade a day!

I'd rather the winter than summer. You can always get warmer outside. You can't get colder in the beating sun around brand new copper and 168 (we checked the temp) degree slate

My nipples are raging hard right now from the delightful cool breeze in this office. Sometimes I get sleepy though from the complimentary back massages in the conference rooms. :( :( :( :(

I'm currently wearing a sweatshirt in the office, like I do most days, since I sit right below one of the big vents for our area.

Welcome to construction, been roofing for my Father's company since I was 11. White shirt, heavy amounts of cold water and a shade break every 1/2 in blistering sun. It is a brutal profession that not many can do it.

I feel you on the heat. I didn't have to put my sweater on once today at my desk.

Same here, Just over in the desert right now where its 120 with 80% humidity :/

Sucks, especially when the aircrew gets the nice A/c units and we get to sit on the ground in the heat.
