The court told me nothing of the sort. I just showed that i did driver's education and he said i was good to go.

Normally, we go every friday and saturday night during the summer, nothing happens. If cops do come, they just roll through and tell everyone to leave. This is the first time we've had any real trouble at this spot.

Then to go drifting in a city right after court. Great choice.
Your situation sucks, but really you did your best to get your self where you are. Now its time to deal with digging your self out of a hole.
I'm definitely not looking for sympathy on R3V, i've been on here long enough to know better. I was just hoping I could get some advice on what to do next. Needless to say, I'm done drifting for a whiiiiile. the failure to yield was for running a yellow/red light (i still think i made it, but i was speeding to catch the light so i wasn't about to argue.)

My friend got a couple cell phone vids. I'll try to post them in here. I'm by no means some JDM as f^ck dreefto, but i've been doing it for a little while and i think i've been progressing with my technique well. If i knew of a place i could go on friday and saturday nights and stay out till the early hours of the morning just drifting and hanging out, that wasn't the streets, I'd be there.

Thanks for the responses so far.

I seem to remember you stating how you "ripped up on the e brake and drifted around cars" in order to avoiding cars in an accident.
Hmmm, I never pulled it. I was there.

I was not a Mod when that was taken down. James removed I believe because of the whole Google thing. Greg asked for it to be brought back but I believe it was lost in the recycling bin.

Swerving is not using an ebrake.

So dont feel bad. Just pay the fines and learn from it. I dont think youre a dumbass if you learn a lesson

I've dealt a lot with this kind of thing. First of all what you need to do as soon as you get out is GO HOME. Stay home for a couple days keep out of trouble & all will be merry.

I think drifting is pretty cool...but not on public roads. Take it to the track. I have no sympathy for anyone that street races or drifts on public streets.

An ordinary "failure to yield" offense and running from a cop aren't really the same at all. Not even close.
