I know for a fact they do. At least in the VW world. I have a mate in German that I sold a VW MK2 Westmorland grill and radiator support (only in america) for $400 plus he is shipping back Golf EU spec tails, E30 euro clock, and e30 Euro Smily's.
I sent him a photo of a local pick a part and asked me to see about getting him US seatbelts, some Benz headlights, and stuff like that.
So... I'd say yes. They want the parts.
