I am really into watching good movies and I am curious what movies some of you guys like. By far my favorite is "The Shawshank Redemption". If any of you have seen it you can probably agree with me, it seems to be everybodys favorite. So what do you guys like?

How come no one ever says Apocalypse Now?

          Anyways, fucking great flick.

Full Metal Jacket too, to go along with the Vietnam era war films.

Also, City of God, it's got all subtitles, but it's damn good.

Munich was one of the best movies I've seen in a theater for a long time.

I haven't watched very many movies lately but I did see The Professional a few weeks back and was surprised at how good it was. A hitman movie with heart.

My favorite movies are the standard ones:
            The Usual Suspects
            Pulp Fiction
            Shawshank
            Boondock Saints
            Office Space
            Ronin (for the chase)

You haven't lived unless you've seen Cannibal! The Musical.

Saw Waiting for the first time last night. It had some good moments.

I just saw pi ripped and it was fucking frightening. The ending was amazing though. Good flick, I think I picked it up for like 10 bucks.

                    I bombed Korea every night.

Cannibal - One of the funniest movies ever.

Waiting - Loved it. Saw it twice, thought Reynolds was even funnier than Van Wilder.

Pi - What else can you say about it? Great fucking flick.

Now, as for upcoming movies... this is going to be a fucking classic, I can tell already. Jack Black, Mexican wrestling, by the director of Napoleon Dynamite.

He is the same god damn character in every movie (except that shit-bomb Amittyville remake). Although he is good at it, it's getting kind of old.

all the usual ones have already been said but I'll put in another vote for Boondock Saints and Butterfly Effect

Some others good movies are Waking Ned Devine, Layer Cake, Detroit Rock City, Girl Next Door and anything Monty Python
