From '88 it's got to be a toss up between two Peugeots, either the 205 GTI or the 505 Wagon.

You know honestly I would have to say from 88 it could be a lot of cars that I really love, get me on a technicality if you want but I have to say 88 GNX (even though they were left over 87's) Closest I have come so far:79 Regal Sportcoupe T-type

And for you Porsche lovers to drool on... 85 930 Turbo (grey market import)

I was born in 88. I bought my 79 on my way to one day owning an 88 Grand National. and the 85 was for the bunch of people who said that the 930 slant was their dream car.

The last GN off the line was in Dec. 11 1987. Did they sell it as an 88 or an 87?

The late '70s weren't exactly a high point in automotive history; even the 911 was crap in 1977. So with that in mind, I might as well just own it:

                    1977 Trans Am baby!

Sold as an 88. I am in a club with a whole bunch of GN nuts and a few of them are titled as 88's

Interesting! I never even seen any 88 GN, Turbo-T or Regal's for sale or listed somewhere. Now the Monte Carlos I have.. I had a 85 GN, eventhough it was a hot air car. It was still a blast to drive when I would get it out.
